Fibromyalgia is a complex disease, characterised by the existence of diffuse and multiple pains, and of certain points on the body which are painful when pressed. It is also accompanied by various manifestations such as sleep disorders, fatigue and mood disorders. Its complexity lies in the fact that its mechanism has not been fully understood, nor have specific lesions been identified. It is now recognised as a disorder and everything must be put in place to treat it and reduce as much as possible the inconvenience it causes in everyday life.
