Atheromatosis or atherosclerosis

Atheromatosis is a disease of the vessel wall, partly caused by abnormalities of fats (hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia), but also by the existence of a chronic inflammatory disease, such as lupus. A change in food regimen, possibly with a treatment, can normalize cholesterol through a balanced diet, avoiding animal "bad fats" (butter, cream, cold cuts), replacing them with vegetable "good fats" (olive oil ...).
