Acupuncture and mesotherapy (consisting of performing multiple subcutaneous injections of drugs) can sometimes bring relief, but they will not allow the control of the disease.

The risk of mesotherapy is that the molecules injected during this treatment may interfere with the traditional treatment, but also cause a local allergic reaction or even infection.
